Ayia Napa General Holiday Information
This Mediterranean resort town is situated on the southeast coast of Cyprus and has been transformed from a sleepy fishing village into a lively resort that has something for all ages. The area has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and in addition you can also visit the Natural Forest Park of Cape Greko with stunning coves and caves.
Ayia Napa’s main landmark is the storied, Medieval Monastery, which stands in the central square of Plateia Seferi. The harbour’s busy tavernas serve freshly caught seafood, and the adjoining Pantachou Beach offers a stretch of golden sand. At night the vibrant and energised atmosphere springs to life with the night clubs and bars. The centre square is also the host for many cultural events throughout the year.
